I have never understood why Americans take Halloween to such extremes

hey god put penguins in little suits

  14. Jen on October 31, 2007

Hilarious pictures! My cats even get on in the Halloween dress-up fun, although I’m sure it is much more fun for me than for them LOL. They usually take their costumes off faster than I can get a picture.

Hilarious photos, so cute and funny. My dog usually gets out of his dog clothes before I can take any decent shots. When I dressed up my sisters cat for Halloween she looked so cute.

    i think they’re really cute…
why do some ppl wig out about this?
jesus christ, it’s not like their in pain or anything or its extreme animal cruelty…
in fact, it looks like some of them are enjoying it!
some ppl just like to get in the holiday spirit and it doesn’t make them freaks…

can’t some people just enjoy some cute animal pics without freaking out?

  17. Misty Moose on January 11, 2008

I like that Pug dressed up like Darth Vader!

  18. Bill Vincent on November 21, 2008

Aw heck, people, we have 2 dogs, and they both love to wear cloths and stuff. They will actually BRING their clothes to us to have them put on!

    Relax!

  19. Voice of Reason on December 3, 2008

If those dogs were really upset about wearing those costumes, they wouldn’t sit still and they’d try to tear them off.

Dogs pretty much don’t care about much. They’re stoked about everything, and their memory doesn’t hold much, so chances are, they won’t even remember the costumes.

So, who is sick now? The people who put the costumes on the dogs, or the people who have a pathological need to tell others what to do concerning issues that don’t affect or harm anything? Get lives and maybe try getting dogs. You’ll see.

    So cute!
I agree with the other people. Chill, it’s clothes. It’s not toxic acid or anything. There are plenty of people out there being cruel to animals, this is not them. Learn what animal cruelty really is and then try to compare. It’s not even close, you guys can chill out.

FAKE! The reflections are all wrong!

  22. uuuhhh on January 9, 2009

    clothes are for ppl

  23. Helena on January 23, 2009

Animals in clothes aren’t cute…they’re being treated like dolls. Sure, I can see your point if a dog wants to be dressed up in a sweater…but Little Red Riding Hood? Don’t think so.
Also, it’s not like a pet that likes to “dress up” has always liked doing so; it’s probably *developed* a liking to it. Meaning that it’s a habit, forced upon it by humans. Puppies don’t usually look around for little clothes to somehow put on or anything.

    gawd-uhh.

  24. Van on March 15, 2009

I wish i could dress my cat up everyday :(

  25. bystander on March 30, 2009

Of ffs get off your high horses people, its harmless, they could be docking their tails to make them look better! Would you rather that?! It does not hurt them and I bet they get heaps of attention for it.

  26. Damian on March 31, 2009

This page made my day! I couldn’t stop chuckling : )

  27. Rei on March 31, 2009

Helena – Neither do little girls. Children are always being dressed up in costumes. So either these people are treating their dogs like children or their children like dolls.

I think it’s cute and not meant for any harm. I would not mind if people dressed me up and took photos of me. It’s happened a few times, actually!

  28. Donna Long on August 6, 2009

C’mon people, lighten up… these dog pix are really cute…People who would take the time and effort for something like this are probably the best dog people ever and most likely love their dogs very dearly. The dogs are not being hurt in any way and are probably getting more attention and love than the other 99 percent of the dog population. Save your judgemental comments for dog owners who are really cruel to their dogs…like the poor Vick dogs. True dogs are not children, but there’s no harm in this. I suppose some people just feel a need to find fault in other people, even when there really is none.
